HomeComing Global was a dream that became a reality in 2020. It became a reality when three strangers joined together with a vision and mission to help prodigals and strugglers find life changing transformation in Jesus Christ.

The parable of the lost son in Luke 15:11-32 forms the basis of the ministry of HomeComing Global. It’s a story that reflects upon the lives of so many people who begin to discover their own relational and sexual brokenness.

If we find ourselves going down a path of relational and sexual brokenness, we will struggle with intense feelings of hopelessness, shame, loneliness, guilt and despair. All these intense feelings may leave us adrift, not knowing where to find help.

In the Luke account, the prodigal son hit rock bottom when he realized how his sin caused great harm to himself and his family. Like the prodigal son, it may require some of us to hit rock bottom before we can accept and admit that we need to repent and desperately need to be forgiven.

The story of the Prodigal son is one of the greatest stories ever told. What is unique about the story is there is another son who factors into the story. He is the older prodigal son who does not wander off and recklessly squanders his father’s inheritance. Instead, he sees himself as the “good” dutiful son. He works hard to follow his father’s rules and wishes. But his motives are wrong. He works hard not because of his love and gratitude for his father but because he feels that his father owes him an inheritance. He is motivated by pride, self-righteousness and a superior attitude toward his younger brother.

There are two prodigals in the story of the prodigal son. Both are in desperate need of the love and forgiveness of the father. HomeComing Global desires to help prodigals who struggle with same sex attraction or gender dysphoria to find transformation in Jesus Christ. This would include parents, grandparents, relatives and friends who have prodigals in their lives.
